I've always had a creative eye. Long before I ever picked up a camera, I saw things visually: how a room could look, how a story could land, how people react to what's put in front of them. That's just how my mind works.

At 17, I was a door-to-door sales rep for a window and door company. Knocking on doors at tea time. Getting rejected more times than I can count. No script that worked every time. No comfort zone. Just tenacity nobody hands you. You either find it in yourself, or you go home.

That job built me. It taught me resilience most people never have to find, at an age most people haven't found anything yet.

Then came a decade in removals and transport. Loading, transporting, assembling, working alongside interior designers in luxury furnishings, handling pieces that mattered to people. Honest work. But commoditised. Compared on price, every time. I knew that grind, inside and out.

Some time ago, I walked away from that business, picked up my first professional camera, and came back from Dubai with a decision already made.

Because what actually drives me was never just the camera. It's the standard I hold myself to. Excellence in the work, honesty in how I run it, integrity in every conversation. That's non-negotiable, whoever I'm working with. Every dream I've chased has come from that same place: refusing to cut corners, and being someone people can trust before they've even seen the results.

So when I started filming, I knew exactly where I belonged. Windows and doors. The same commoditised fight I'd once tried to win on a doorstep with nothing but guts.
